Causeys of Early Virginia: Part I.

24 April 2025. For the next few months I want to offer a series of posts containing raw research. These files are based on geographical areas beginning with Jamestown. My purpose is to share with you much of my research done over the past decade in these areas. In most documents I’ve tried to add links and credits. But, as you know, links come and go. Hopefully, these posts will save you time in tracing your own family lines. I’m using PDF files for most of the information presented.

I will begin with some research into the origin of the first of the Causey surname to arrive in the New World, Nathaniel Causey. Let’s see if we can make any feasible connections to the Old World:
