Hope you all are having a blessed Christmas and New Years celebration. It is a difficult and multifaceted challenge to tie together the Causey migration from Colonial Maryland to the Southward and Westward movement. Initially the two paths south were the Chesapeake and Inter-Coastal waterways down to North and South Carolina and the Great Wagon Trail. Today I will focus in on one Causey line, Nehemiah Causey-IV and two of his sons Thomas and Robert. Much of this essay simply ties together a lot of old information.
